Another free show with an up-and-coming act is coming up — this time on a Friday night — from Boston’s Independent Music Source.

The band is called Uni and they’re playing a free show at Bill’s Bar on Friday, August 24.

Kemp Muhl has been modeling since her teens and making music and producing videos for almost as long. Her new project Uni blends art rock, glam, and pop into something unique. The songs are fuzzy and bass heavy, the visuals eye catching. And, thanks to Pacifico, you can see and hear it all for free.

Doors for this party are at 6 p.m., with a DJ set from indie617’s own Morning Glory host Michael Marotta (who used to DJ Friday nights at a lil’ club night called The Pill).

And for those of you planning on seeing Beach House at the House of Blues that same night? We set it up so you can do both — Uni early on, then the Baltimore shoegazers later on. Click here to RSVP.

This show is powered by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and presented by Pacifico. Bill’s Bar is located at 5 Lansdowne St. in Boston, across from Fenway Park and a few doors down from the House of Blues.
