Today is a very special day, and not just because Lush released Lovelife on this day back in ’96. Nahh, it’s also the 20th anniversary of Cruel Intentions, that guiltiest of ’90s guilty pleasure movies that take us back to a better time when Placebo and The Verve landed on film soundtracks and Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar could pull off being sexy step-siblings who totally want to bone.

And since this special anniversary landed on a Quesday, we asked — what are your favorite guilty pleasure ’90s films?

Morning Glory heard your responses via @indie617 and came correct with a bunch more that reflected a lot of the listener suggestions: Can’t Hardly Wait, 10 Things I Hate About You, Varsity Blues, The Craft, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and more.

We were joined by indie617’s Paul Driscoll and Julie Kramer, as well as Morning Glory fave Pelvis Costello, who goes by Ashley when she’s not here on the best radio station in Boston.
