So look, you just can’t expect a show called Morning Glory to ignore new music from Liam Gallagher. The Oasis frontman returned today, June 7, with a banger of a new guitar-rock tune called “Shockwave,” and we jumped at the chance to show it some American love earlier today on indie617.

The track is pure Liam: catchy sing-alongs, a sonic wave of guitars, and the ability to somehow rhyme “shockwave” with “behave” and have it be perfectly acceptable. There’s even some “Rock And Roll Part 2” vibes in here, and we know it’ll be a hit at sport stadiums around the world.

Here’s my full take on the track.
