It’s Monday here at indie617, which means a new Song of the Week poll has risen from the weekend ashes. Julie Kramer took home last week’s title with her pick of “Bags” by Clairo, and she defends her belt today with the latest from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, “Rattling Rose.”

It sets up a brotherly showdown as Michael Marotta goes hard with Liam Gallagher’s new track “Shockwave.” But this isn’t a Oasis-esque twirl for the Gallaghers only, as Paul Driscoll pulls young Welsh talent Jack Perrett — a former SOTW champ for his track “Pressure” — and his new track “Army of Two” for glory.

And Pelvis Costello goes into the now with “Let Me Listen On You” by Yeasayer, who dropped a new album this past Friday and play the Paradise Rock Club on Thursday.
