To the surprise of literally no one, indie617 listeners are “indie” on the new track from The Sheila Divine. It’s called “Age Is Just A Number,” it hits before the beloved band plays The Sinclair in Cambridge this Friday, and it scored 94 percent “indie” in our latest round of Indie or Outtie.

Check the results below.

This new TSD track arrives with a bittersweet bushel of emotion, however, as it begins to mark what might be the end for the Boston/Buffalo alt-rock band.

Back in July, Aaron Perrino wrote: “Boston fans make sure you come to The Sinclair for what might be our last local appearance. One of my absolute best friends in the world Jim Gilbert is leaving the band after this run of shows. We’ll close this chapter with a new album called Beginning of the End, a vinyl release of New Parade, and over 20 years of friendship, blood, sweat, and tears. I’m not sure what I’ll do after these shows, but regardless the band won’t be the same without Jimmy Lownotes. Hope to see you there!”

We’re “indie”, no doubt.
