We realize the modern-day workweek runs Monday to Friday, but it’s every Thursday when we start getting amped up for the weekend. That was the case this morning, once again, as we spun our eyes towards the weekend on Morning Glory.

On this week’s weekend preview, which we affectionately dub Nighttime Glory, we spotlighted a handful of notable live music shows, including tonight’s Sir Babygirl appearance at ONCE in Somerville; Saturday and Sunday’s Local Music Fest at Boston’s City Hall Plaza; and a slew of Sunday night gigs: Aldous Harding at Cafe 939 (photos via 4AD), Stereolab at Royale, Sidney Gish at The Sinclair, and the wonderfully named Psychedelic Porn Crumpets at Great Scott.
