SHORT WEEK ALERT!

With the Thanksgiving holiday arriving on Thursday and a basic nationwide understanding that Black Friday will be spent either shopping or recovering from said Thanksgiving, we’re making the Song of the Week poll a mad 48-hour dash to the finish line. This week’s SOTW poll wraps up Wednesday around 8:30 a.m. on Morning Glory, right before we launch The Top 100 indie617 Songs of the Decade, which will take us through the weekend.

The poll period may be short, but we’re long on talent, as Morning Glory host Michael Marotta defends his crown with Tik Tok phenom Sub Urban and his new track “Cradles.” Up for the challenge are a trio of bangers: Saturday queen Pelvis Costello rolls with Maggie Rogers’ “Love You For A Long Time”; production coordinator Tommy O’Connor dips into Queens duo HOAX and their new joint “unconditional”; and Kick Out The Jams host Julie Kramer nominates Courtney Love’s contribution to The Turning OST, “Mother.”
