“2019 had many notable moments. It was the year Mark Ronson teamed up with Angel Olsen and released the best song of his career. Big Thief gave us ‘UFOF’, and yes, the ‘F’ at the end stands for friend. Clairo introduced us to ‘Sofia’, a song that I’m sure The Strokes would have loved to have written. Temples thought we were either on something or onto something, and Havertown, Pennsylvania’s own Alex G made us all take notice, and he gave us ‘Hope’.”
